The Daily Habit!
Fresh beats perfect. A steady rhythm of new Posts does more for your Game than one flawless Post a month.
In short
- Players come back for tomorrow's Post; they don't binge one Game.
- A played Post never returns to that player's main feed, fresh Posts get preference, and followers only see the last 7 days.
- Post daily, at most two Posts per Game per day, and schedule a week or more ahead in one sitting.
Players don't binge, they come back
On Minit Games, nobody plays one game for an hour until they're bored of it. Each Post counts once per player, takes about a minute, and then the feed moves on. What keeps a player coming back to your Game is tomorrow's Post: a new challenge from a game they already like.
That's the rhythm the platform is built around. Think of a daily crossword rather than a console game: the same familiar rules, a fresh puzzle every day, and a small ritual players look forward to. Your Game earns a place in that ritual by showing up with something new, again and again.
Daily Posts are how you turn a Game people liked once into a habit they return to.
Why fresh Posts win
The feed favors new Posts. A Post published today gets more chances to be shown than one from last month.
There's a second reason. Once a player has played one of your Posts, it leaves their main feed for good. And when the feed lines up a player's next few Posts, it picks at most one from each Game. So your Game's next appearance in someone's feed usually depends on you having a Post they haven't played yet.
Every new Post is a new chance, for new players and for the ones who already know you. More on what the feed measures: Find Your Players!.
Your followers' seven-day window
Followers only see your Posts from the last 7 days. If you go quiet for a week, there's nothing new from you for them to find.
Posting regularly keeps you inside that window, so the people who chose to follow you keep running into your work. What a follow does: Turn Players into Fans!.
How often to post
Our advice: post daily, and at most two Posts per Game per day.
There's no hard limit and no penalty for posting more. But every Post you publish competes with your other Posts for the same players and the same feed slots. Post too many at once and they split the same players' attention, so each one gets less chance to find its audience and none can grow into a breakout hit. Two strong Posts a day is plenty to stay fresh. If you have more ideas than days, schedule them ahead instead.
Tip: Daily doesn't mean new code daily. With a configurable Game, a new Post can be a new level, a new speed or a new theme, set up in minutes.
Schedule ahead, then relax
You don't have to be online every day to post every day. In Minit Studio you can schedule Posts up to 4 weeks ahead, each going live on its own date.
If you use an AI assistant, the Minit MCP Server can schedule Posts for you too. Describe the plan ("one new maze each morning for the next two weeks") and let it set them up.
An evening of planning can cover a month of daily Posts.
Mix easy and hard
Easier Posts are great for new players: they win, they enjoy it, they want more. Harder Posts are what your regulars come back for: something to sink their teeth into.
Alternate them. An easy Monday and a tough Tuesday serves both groups, and gives you a natural rhythm to plan around. Watch which ones players finish and Cheer, and adjust your mix as you learn.
